Welcome to the inaugural edition of CPC Source, Central LHIN region.
This e-newsletter offers timely updates, web links and current information
about health human resources in the province of Ontario and your
region. Please contact me if you require assistance developing your
best practices or recruitment and retention strategies, determining
applicant CPSO eligibility or have other questions.

• The Wave 5 application process for 30 new Family Health Teams
  is now being issued. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on June 25.
  The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care has resource documents
  to assist with your application.
• The Wave 3 application process for 14 new Nurse Practitioner-led
  clinics is now being issued. The application deadline is 5 p.m.
  on June 25.
• Looking for summer locums? Post your opportunities on
  HFOJobs. Don’t forget, we can do the posting for you.
• Practice Ontario is a new dedicated job search service, created by
  HFO MRA, for postgraduate medical residents. PracticeOntario @
  U of T is the first medical school to launch this service.
• OntarioMD has electronic medical records funding available to
  physician groups and specialists.

• Central LHIN region is welcoming new U.S physicians through
  the CPSO Pathways to Registration. More physician supervisors
  are needed.
• U of T needs FP preceptors in North York and Markham for
  med students. Contact Dr. Hirji.
• Under the new HFO Postgraduate Return of Service (ROS),
  communities in Ontario (except Ottawa and the Toronto area) can
  recruit Canadian grads and IMGs with ROS commitments to fulfil.
  Aurora, Richmond Hill and Newmarket are now eligible. More
