Welcome to the inaugural edition of CPC Source, Mississauga
Halton LHIN region. My name is Michael and I work with
HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency; together
we offer a range of programs and services to ensure area residents
enjoy access to health care when and where they need it. From
assisting organizations with their physician and nursing recruitment
to finding locums to supporting ongoing ED operations,
I’m here to help.

• The Wave 5 application process for 30 new Family Health Teams
  is now being issued. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on June 25.
  If you are a provider within the Mississauga Halton LHIN and have
  questions regarding the process, please contact Joe Mauti.
• The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has announced two
  new initiatives:
• HealthForceOntario Northern and Rural Recruitment and
  Retention Initiative (HFO N3R)
• HealthForceOntario Return of Service Program
  (HFO ROS)
• Looking for summer locums? Post your opportunities on
  HFOJobs. Don’t forget, we can do the posting for you.
• Practice Ontario is a new dedicated job search service, created by
  HFO MRA, for postgraduate medical residents. PracticeOntario @
  U of T is the first medical school to launch this service.
